Vaal Mall

Since opening in 2006, Vaal Mall has enjoyed one of the highest trading densities of any regional mall in South Africa. Situated in the heart of Vanderbijlpark and the Vaal Triangle, Vaal Mall offers 66 255m² of convenient shopping. This regional mall boasts over 140 fashion and retail stores, a food court with a variety of take-away and sit-down restaurants, a wide variety of banking services and seven different promotional courts with parking to accommodate over 3000 cars. Major anchor tenants include Pick n Pay, Woolworths, Edgars and Game.

The centre is located at the intersection of the Golden Highway and Barrage Road, Vanderbijlpark. Access from the entire trade area is by means of these two roads and Rossini Boulevard, which are all double carriageway arterials. Vaal Mall draws shoppers from a vast area including primarily Vanderbijlpark, Sasolburg and the Western fringe of Vereeniging, including Boipatong, Roshnee, Sebokeng, Bopalong, Evaton and Sharpeville.

The expansion welcomed new brands to Vaal Mall which include Cotton On, Mr Price Sport, Turn ‘n Tender, Ster Kinekor, Due South, Typo and Studio 88 to name a few. Brands that expanded their footprint in 2016 include Truworths, Foschini, Markham, Edgars ,and Woolworths. It is the success of Vaal Mall that has provided the impetus for the expansion.
